Are my best friend and I in the same soul group?

It's always puzzled me because we met at a time in my life where I couldn't talk to anyone and i instantly connected with her when I first spoke to her. Before I knew her I didnt like her. We have been closer than sisters since i met her 3 years ago, and we come to each other with everything. Even when we fight (very seldom) we know were just blowing off steam and that doing it will make us even better tommorrow. :) She is a Virgo and I am an Aquarius so by all accounts our closeness doesnt make sense. She believes in reincarnation and so do I. She knows she was a soldier in a past life and she is very sure that she died after being shot in the knee and bleeding to death. She had very vivid dreams like that as a child for the longest time and woke up screaming and screaming and holding her left knee thinking it had been blown off and then wondering why there wasnt a hole. I don't remember my past lives but i somehow feel I knew my brother, my mother and my best friend in some time other than the time we currently live in. i cant explain it. What do you guys think?
