What major store sells gerbils?

I done research and i really want a gerbil and well i was thinking about pet supplies plus i live in michigan and well idont want to travel far to get it or have it shipped to me i was thnking about maybe other pet stores i dont really know because this is my first pet i am 13 year old girl and well i wanted to know if a gerbil would be a good pet for me i can clean it oftn and i am bored all the time so i can pend lke 3 to 4 hours with it each night when i get home form school i want to tame it to but what things should i teach it
