I feel very affectionate towards my little brother?

This is one of the most natural things imaginable , its innate , we are built to protect our young , our family . He needs you , he relies on you as he should , you are his elder sibling . Don't ever take this love and protection away from him , your friends who don't protect their siblings are screwed up and are missing out on something wonderful. The bonds we can have between our siblings and our family are greater than any other bond , not even boyfriends / husbands . Blood is thicker than water ! If the world became chaos , if their was a natural disaster , terrorist attack who would you fear for most ? - Your family , and them for you . This is unbelievably natural and important . Look up 'attachment' psychologists speak about bonds between elders , family members , its crucial to your brothers feelings of self worth , knowing that he has someone who will love and protect him . You are so lucky that your brother allows you to protect him and that he feels safe with you , not everyone is lucky like that , others push siblings away . This bond will get him and possibly yourself through anything .
