Is it a COP OUT to call Isaiah Washington a Bigot?

I would say so. I watched him on Larry King the other night. And it sounds as though the person that he used the expletive against had an ax to grind against him. He seemed baffled by the turn of events that got him fired from Grey's Anatomy. I don't think he's a bigot at all.
