The "mark of the beast" - will it be physically forced upon us or a voluntary acquiescence?

If there is anything wrong with accepting the mark of the beast, it must have something to do with breaking one of God's ten commandments. So one day the beast will try to make us break one of God's ten commandments. That's what we should expect. I can only think of one commandment that would be worth trying to make even Christians break.
