Why the difference between theory of religion and its practice?

Many are anxious to proclaim themselves as believers. They talk the talk, but don't walk the walk.. Achieving the christ life is the goal and is very hard to do.. I am not there yet , but I will not give up.. I am going to keep praying until He gets through to me
