What Professional Condenser Microphone is right for me?

AT4040s are great mics. They are true condensers rather than electret microphones like your CAD mic as well as the lower 40 series mics. The other day, my company was contracted to record an orchestra and we put up a pair of AT4040s in a wide spaced pair, and the results were great. Occasionally, we put one up in front of backup singers and it never lets us down.
